Do these hats keep the sun off your face?
The brim shades your face and the mesh back keeps air moving, which is most of what you want on a hot day. We don't make SPF or UV ratings claims. It's a hat, not sunscreen.
What happens when the hat gets wet or sandy?
Nothing much. The foam front holds its shape after salt water and rain, and the terry cloth sweatband handles the rest of the day.
Can you wear one with a ponytail or a bun?
Yes. The snapback opens wide enough to sit over a ponytail or a low bun. The straw lifeguard hat has a drawcord inside the crown, so you can tighten it around one.
Which color works best for the beach?
Tan and white already match everything in the beach bag. Camo works like a neutral. Neon pink is for when somebody has to spot you in a crowd.
Do you make beach hats for kids?
